If Hexy wanted to divest himself of BSchenn, I'm guessing he had a chance to do so last summer. He signed him, so I suspect he thinks highly of him.

Even with D-men being at a premium around the league, Luke isn't one of those guys you have to have on your team.

I think other players have had their nicknames on their sticks too.

When Roenick was here (and elsewhere) he had "Styles" printed on his stick. I presume no one else called JR that name and he gave himself that nickname because that seems like the kind of thing Roenick would do.

Eh - I used to like Roenick a lot, but then he became a little too cocky and fake for my liking. Now, I can't stand seeing him as an analyst.
