Au cours des 13 premiers matchs de la saison, les joueurs évoluant sur les troisième et quatrième trios n’avaient inscrit que trois buts et récolté qu’un maigre total de 9 points. Ils affichaient aussi un différentiel cumulatif de -19! Ces chiffres plutôt inquiétants se mariaient à d’autres tout aussi inquiétants, comme cette incapacité chronique à marquer le premier but dans la rencontre. Mais au cours de la séquence victorieuse, le renversement de situation fut phénoménal. Lors des six derniers matchs, qui se sont soldés par des victoires, le principal quintette du Tricolore a explosé avec neuf buts, six mentions d’aide, trois buts gagnants et un différentiel combiné de +17! C’est là, à mon avis, l’ingrédient principal de cette dernière poussée.
