Carol Schram: Vancouver Canucks Game Day: November 14 vs. Arizona Coyotes
As they start to get healthier, the Vancouver Canucks will host the Arizona Coyotes on Friday night at Rogers Arena. - Carol Schram
The Bobby Sanguinetti callup will show us how desperate the team is for Defensive depth that can step in and replace minutes. I wish him the best. The price for D is way too high right now and not likely to come down this season. Do you make a move or not, if you do when?

Vermette against Vancouver:
26GP, 11G, 11A, 22Pts
Basically a 70 point full season pace.
Keys to the game:
- Contain Antoine (frank)ing Vermette, even limiting him to 1 assist is fine
- Hope Hanzal only injures one player this time, preferably a bottom 6 forward or maybe he can fire a puck into the press box and rough up Sestito.

Worst thing for his development is barely playing and getting scratched. Let him play the WJHC and go on another playoff run in London. |

"A big part of that has been sub-par play from Mike Smith, whose numbers are well below normal with a .889 save percentage and 3.43 goals-against."
Is his 2.21 / .930 2011/12 season normal, or his 3.09 / .900 2009/10 season normal? Perhaps the Coyotes system is no longer able to make that Smith is just an average goalie any more... |

FRANK that AHL under 20 rule. Dumbest thing ever, clearly the guy can handle himself.
Only positive is he doesn't lose another year off his entry level. |

Orrr..
Maybe look at his career save percentage based on a way larger sample size, which sits at an average, but not terrible .913%. He's overpaid and overrated IMO, but he's not a .900SV% goalie.

5-0 Yotes - Nucker101
Vermeer gets checked from behind (Burrows) and dislocates his shoulder, Burrows gets 5 and a game (and a 12 game suspension), Horvat single handedly kills the 5 minute penalty and scores his first (five goals) of the season.

After winning the President's Cup, the Canucks will purposely lose four straight, so they can "win their cup" and have a nice long summer. |

I'm just saying, no point in trying to bring a logical argument in to play to combat a complete troll post... You're in school, use that big brain of yours
EDIT - also, you're kind of the master of getting players in trade for a bunch of guys you picked up off waivers... Instead of vetoing trades, we should just boot the guys out who make dumb trades. |

Presidents Trophies are fun. I can't believe some people get all snipey and say they aren't worth poop. I dunno.. winning against 30ish teams over 82 games and being the best at doing so isn't something to be happy about? (frank) those naysayers. |

Are you suggesting that half of the managers in our league are stupid? Name some names so we can get some drama going |

Maybe I am. I guess anyone who has ever completed a trade with you where they gave up a "Stamkos" or a "Malkin" for Benoit "the next Gretzky" Puliot would fit into that category. |
