All we have are bragging rights. It not like their is money on the line. - vancity787
Exactly. Free dynasty pool, guys are gonna pick players they want to watch on T.V. makes it way more fun. |

Corey Perry trade is interesting. I could rage, but i wont. - vancity787
How would a trade for Corey Perry go down if the Canucks were interested? Would it take too much? If so, what? |

In a league this deep I don't think it's a huge concern unless the rest of your team is poopty. I have 3 non-active players on my roster and several more of my players are in their first season, but most weeks I'm pretty competitive in player categories. Goaltending is a bigger issue
Edit: 6 stats are related to points - bezz44
The last pool I won was a goals only pool that had 35 entries and I got to pick 1st (Brett Hull) I got more goals from Hull (86) than some teams got from all 8 of their players.
It was a good year for pools for me, I won our Ghoul pool 3 times that year, Jim Hensen, Myles Davis, Gene Roddenberry. |

If there's gonna be very little player movement we might as well just re-draft every year to keep it interesting. Otherwise it gets stale... |

We're just waiting for Kesler to screw his wife, then he will demand a trade, driving down the asking price. Kesler will pay off for years. |

I have such a hard time picturing a league where players can go more than GPG |

Yup. For a free pool the draw is the entertainment value, and I don't know about anyone else but 3/4 of the fun is being an armchair GM. Not much agency in just activating your roster every day |

It's funny how some guys in the pool are trading for 4-5 years down the round. I don't get the point of that. I want to win every year, makes no sense to trade for guys like Draisatl, Horvat, Barkov etc... Going to be years before they produce. - Scooby_Doo
I wanted a more balanced team and to change it up, bored of the same team. |

I agree as long as he doesn't get scratched a lot I think its fine. They are probably just trying to protect him from Hanzel who injured 2 centers last year. - belcherbd
Good point, maybe Hanzal will do Bo a favour and open up a spot for him. |

You figured out your score when Tuesday's newpaper came out. A newspaper was a thing that was delivered to your house everyday by a kid or a fat lady with 5 kids and a 1974 station wagon. |

For example, I just picked up a player that I didn't know existed until a few minutes ago. |

Yellow Rally 3 speed with a banana seat, "biker" bars and a pair of hockey cards cloths pegged in the spokes. Had a carrier on the front.

#7 cause they're tighter than Booth was gripping his stick last season. |
