Gustafsson was a smallish, puck moving offensive defenseman, that was neither very good at moving the puck, or putting up points.

To this point this season, there has been nothing in Akeson's game that points to deserving more icetime. He looks like a small, average skating one dimensional offensive forward, that isn't going to be able to produce enough offense to stay in the league

I just think a lot of the things you've brought up are stupid. The last conversation we had was basically you rationalizing your reasons why you hate Lecavalier so much. He's not the scorer he once was and he wasn't expected to be when he got here. He's secondary scoring. Now this idea that he wouldn't lose a few steps due to age is moronic. If a guy like RJ Umberger for example is this bad at age 30, after being a damn good player 10 years ago, it's not hard to tell he'll be a lot worse at age 40.
