They will be bought out this summer. Its either keep paying these corpses 9.1 million to play for us or pay them 4.5 million to not play for us (the highest buyout caphit year)

What I hope ends up happening is the Flyers waive Lecavalier later this year and bring up Laughton. Umberger can play a 4th line roll for the team.

Still early. They're going to be in the hunt all year. With the way Giroux and Voracek are playing Im not sure how they cant be. They may slow up soon but they are both in peak years as players. So they wont slow that much.

I don't know if they are or are not, to be totally honest. I said most of the summer and early fall that they were going to be a bubble team. I see zero reason to alter that opinion. I could see them finishing 2nd or 7th or anywhere in between.

I pretty much agree with this. They were never going to do anything this year, not a surprise.

Oh I know. Vinny and Umberger are unbearable. But they;re gone this summer. The blue line I've been pleasantly surprised with. MDZ should get resigned, while one of the Gross/Schenn/Coburn group moves on, maybe for a 2nd rounder at the deadline which would be tasty. (similar to Mez last year)

So if they wind up with their 1st, 2nd and another 2nd. That would be tremendous for the upcoming draft which is deep.
