He traded them for smith and Monahan.
- Scooby_Doo

Don't forget Kassian and Trouba

No one wanted give me fair value, you even offered me a bunch of sh!t for Perry, so I was ok with this:

Perry for Reilly Smith, Trouba & Kassian
Parise for Monahan & Sekac (although I discovered today I forgot to add Sekac )

I understand your stance; however, I've always felt that being competitive should not be based on taking advantage of either someone's mistake or an intentionally controversial transaction. I think part of the enjoyment of the pool is to obviously have success but not at the cost of simply being fortuitous in getting such a one-sided trade proposal.

I think we probably should have kept the Veto option (this is employed in pretty much most leagues I"m in or have been. It ensures there is a general consensus (especially when you have 16 other managers which should balance out individual perspectives)

I'm excited as hell right now because I'm one of those managers that isn't trying to tank but gain an advantage by any means possible. If this trade gets vetoed because someone says they made a mistake, I'll be very disappointed.

I think these transactions are, for the most part, a win win for both managers.

I actually feel bad not enough to give you Sekac, but enough to throw in a draft pick. I don't have many roster players left

You never countered. I'm not going to make my best offer first. Honestly, apart from my goalies, I love my team. Bernier and Greiss will get me save percentage, but I need am every day goalie.

So, you don't mind benefiting from someone's mistake? (if that is in fact the case).

While you made your offer I was back and forth with Bezz, we wen over several scenario's, I wanted Dougie Hamilton to go with Rylie and Kassian but he wasn't having that, so I settled for Trouba, who actually had more points last year than Hamilton and he's got a lot of upside. Although Hamilton's ceiling is probably higher.

Parise for Monahan and Sekac is a good deal IMO.

Monahan is a stud already and Trouba has huge upside (I would argue that it's not that disimilar from Hamilton). Again, I think it's a good deal for both sides

Yea I didn't really understand the mocking. Kassian isn't where he needs to be yet but the other three are trending steeply up. I thought you gifted Parise a bit easily but knowing that you wanted Sekac makes more sense Still, if Perry hadn't been in the deal I never would have offered Monahan or Trouba

By the way, Gullzy, I didn't mean to come off as a d*ckhead, and whatever the ultimate result, I think it's great you are passionate about the pool and your team, and you are quite active in the league

I think they only count as narcotics if you sell them to cops or fat people
