My boy Barkov Only thing that sucks is the Florida just sucks offensively, the guy doesn't have a legit veteran scoring winger to help him out plus he's not physical enough yet(when he gets older I expect him to throw more hits). I couldn't afford to wait for him, but if I was rebuilding I never would have traded him.

KB#3 wanted Simmonds in his trade with Gullzy. Did Gullzy mention anything about being cool with disallowing the trade if it was a mistake. I PM'd him but I'm not sure if he'll reply in time since the trade will go through soon.


Just don't want to screw over KB#3 if Gullzy understands and is cool with them re-working a deal.

Good Blog Carol, I really don’t have too much problem with Millers play, I would suggest the area of concern at this standpoint would be (A) Defenceman (B) Forwards playing responsibly in their own end. Work on that +/- and try to get more top 4-6 Defensive depth for a playoff push.

Millers play has been a bit of happenstance with our D core and that's how we have to take it.

Carol, Miller wasn't brought in to be a savior. He was brought in to provide some consistency in the position which Lou had sorely lacked over the past two seasons and Lack just couldn't get it done when he was no 1. Yes Miller has shown holes but as long as he can keep us in two goals games and we can score a few more we should be ok.

Of course that depends on the other aspects mentioned in the post I quoted. Top 4-5 D depth and a winger to play with Bonino. I know I am sounding a but redundant with this but I have to look at the Horvat factor as well. Jensen sent down (again) so obviously WD sees something in Horvat that gives us a bit more balance down the stretch.

As it sits right now we are not a playoff team we are a bubble team that will need everything it's got to scratch to that 7-8 position in the conference.

If Horvat is sent down and we fail to acquire some D depth and another winger I have to think we aren't going to make it with the current roster. Especially since the Sedins and Vrbata have shown us nothing in the way of 5/5 scoring as of yet in the tough western conference.
