I'm specifically looking at our upcoming draft and whether we will have more teams folding, whether all teams will need to drop a certain amount of players prior to the draft, or will the draft only be for waiver wire players and the 2015 NHL draft class?

Won't be folding teams, we have people waiting to react any owners so there's no shortage of interest. Since we'll only have rookies and free agents in next year's draft I'll probably give owners the opportunity to forfeit their picks if they prefer to keep everyone on their team. The rest of the owners can draft from whoever is dropped, free agents, and the rookies.

Wow, that drastically reduces the value of the draft. Aside from the first few picks (McDavid, Eichel, etc) there will only be wire scrubs and NAs available for selection.

Was just curious to understand the value of a pick for next year, which appears very low outside the top 5.
