This is pretty on the money. If Hextall wants a Mike Richards type player he'll go out and get one that doesn't have a Mike Richards type contract.

Uh, I think that's a bit off. Laughton dominated Junior and put up huge numbers last year due to just missing the cutoff age for the AHL. At the NHL level he's projected to be a John Madden type defensive specialist with some skill.

Also, if they brought Richards in he would be playing LW. Laughton is a Center and really has next to no experience on the wing...

I believe Richards stays and LA lets Stoll walk after the season is done. He will take over as 3rd center and fill in when the top guys are hurt. Just what I think is going to happen.

Who's mad? Also, I'm not that upset with our current management. Our previous manager ran this team so far I to the Ground it will take at least another season of trades and free agency to maybe get in the playoffs. No other GM would have fixed it in a year, but probably a couple hundred of dorky HB posters could have, they have all the answers.
