Don't know if it was the same for you at the time ( the early 50s right ?)...bit in my time (early 80s) every (frank)ing kid wanted to be a goalie.

We had a team of 12 players, 8 of them Patrick Roy.

I did. It was the mid/late 70s, through the 80s. I was a goalie the first few years because at that time, everyone wanted to be Guy Lafleur.

We actually had one last year, but he moved up. Was recruiting this one kid, but he changed his mind. As for the $3K, they're on the ice 3-5 times per week for 6+ months, so it's really not so bad. In fact, it's likely the least expensive club in the LIHA.
