I'm not sure I want to change anything about the way Galchenyuk is playing right now but it would be nice to see him shoot just a bit more and Nevermind just a bit of those fancy passes. I mean I don't mind the passes because he actually lands them but he really should shoot at least 50% of the time when in the slot...

And yes it was a high-risk pass by Beaulieu on first goal but can anyone explain to me why no one is mentioning that Weise is skating in his own zone with his stick 3 feet off the ice on a break-out?

- kev1586

I agree kev

They all need to shoot more.

As for Weise, he made him look bad.

Seriously....MAF with a shutout? Just sad

Actually, he's leading the league in shutouts and has a better save % than Price so far this year, but don't let those facts get in the way of whatever your narrative is supposed to be.

I'm not staying, we just wanted to check in and say hi since so many of your buddies disappeared from the Pens thread so suddenly. We were worried.

All kidding aside, no worries about tonight gents, everyone has a stinker now and then. Have a good night.

He only has to step up in the playoffs once again.

He has 4 shutouts so far, I think.

Horrible passes all night long, they could not find the open lanes, and it seemed that they could not reach the net all night.

Frustrating to watch, but they were second on the puck on every play.

5th game in 8 nights

not trying to find excuses, but maybe that's part of why they had no legs tonight...

another 3 games in 4 nights starting Thursday, then 4 days without a game...

They need to fire the monkey responsible for that dumb scheduling

Nah it wasn't that bad.
Pitts played pretty well in their own zone and blocked a lot of pucks and every goal they got was from a brain fart.

Pitts played well across the board, Habs not so much. Call them brainfarts but they were plays that led to goals

Yup, most times it makes them better.

Gotta say, this team is missing a leader, a true captain, imo.
