THE 1ST GOAL WASN'T BEAULIEU'S FAULT, IT WAS WEISE'S FAULT. I AGREE WITH DD. WEISE DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO RECEIVE A PASS. HE WAS THE ONE SK8ING, THAT'S WHY BEAULIEU TRIED TO PASS IT TO HIM. BEAULIEU HAD 2 OTHER OPTIONS BUT ONLY WEISE WAS SK8ING. WEISE IS GOOD SK8R BUT HE LEFT HIS BRAIN SOMEWHERE SOMETIMES WHEN HE SK8S.

Won't be surprised if Weaver play over him or if they call up Tinordi.

Bah, they knew night like that would happen playing kids on the blue. I'd keep him so he learns. Make the mistakes now, not in April.

I agree, but I'm not Therrien.

And after you lose in that way, don't you have to change the line-up a little? What else can he changes? Calling back Bourque would just be funny.

There was another player completely open on the other side along the boards.

That pass was a brain fart.

there is no way he can survive this.

I can't wait until he gets canned and they hire the best coach currently out there: Randy Carlyle Dan Bylsma!

edit: OMG GUY BOUCHER WOULD BE THE BEST THERE!!!!

Mike Babcock must be salivating at the thought of coaching that bunch. he'd get along swell with Phil Kessel.

I don't care which coach they hire, they (frank)in suck. Only one line, poor dcore, average goaltending.
But on paper, they're better than the Habs!

Dan Bylsma is such a joke. He's just a younger, better spoken Randy Carlyle.

Somehow he'll survive this.

It will be the "player's fault" - which it is, as well. But will they do what they need to do? Strip Phaneuf of the captaincy and acquire and give it to a REAL leader? Will they fire Nonis and Carlyle (both also accountable - how many years has gone on without the core issues being addressed - a #1 centre and #1 defenseman?)

My thoughts are no, the Leafs management is complacent and gutless. They'll wait and the Leafs might win the next game 5-2 or something and everything will be okay again. They'll fight for a playoff spot till the bitter end and yes it will be bitter - they will miss the playoffs again by a point or two. The Leafs were better under Burke and it was because they had a better culture as well. (frank) sakes we had Colton Orr and McLaren playing on that team and they played better.
