He doesn't need to be the face of the franchise. Any one of Girgensons, Reinhart, 2015 1st round pick will be.

Ennis to Edmonton for Sam Gagner.

I find the Tyler Myers conversation funny. One of the few things that Coach Theo has done competently since he got here was get Myers to play in a manner where he's most successful.

People are going to be so mad when he's still here after the deadline

Spezza was a soon to be UFA and Ottawa's on a tight budget, none of which applies here. Myers gets more national recognition because of what he's accomplished in the past and what people think he still may have for the future.

I think he's showing he has the ability to be a very good player for us. But I don't see him as a "Face of the Franchise" kind of guy.
