He was the goalie we all wanted to be while playing street hockey. Legendary. |

Only book on scoring against him was just fire it at the net and pray he didn't save it. |

I'm with you. Hasek did things on the ice that made you say "no human being, let alone goaltender, has any business being able to do that". That being said, at the same time, you can't fault Roy and Brodeur for having better teams in front of them. I think the reality is that you aren't going to see three goaltenders that dominated the game the way they did at the same time for a very long time, if ever. |

I'd say there was 4 in that time frame.
Hasek
Roy
Brodeur
Belfour
And you are correct. You won't see domination like that at the same time for a while. |

Ken Dryden blew me away as a kid but he too had a great Defense.
That said, I would have to agree that if all things were equal that Dom was hands down better than Marty or Roy (or anyone else for that matter).
Never saw Sawchuk or Plante play. I'm old but not Rapper Ray old !!!

He was waived because he broke his foot kicking a wall after fighting with a teammate.
But yes.
My guess is Edmonton or NJ grabs him. |

Hasek's head is so big i'm shocked it got through the door, we won no cups with him. Good for him but I wasn't sad when he was gone. |

Nope but I'd guess as soon as he's ready, Enroth is as good as gone.

We've won zero cups with any of the greats, doesn't diminish what they did in their time here.
Love him or hate him, he was the Sabres for a decade. |

I would think that there's a lot of frustration toward his entire situation that led up to that wall kicking incident. When you have a disease like MS, it's just as hard on you mentally as it is physically.
It's a shame. He really seemed like he was going to get his shot at being the guy and then had the bad knee injury in preseason that kept him out all year. That next summer he was diagnosed with MS and it's been a struggle for him to stay healthy.
