even the best goalies look like poop behind a team that can't play or won't commit to team defence. Price has been lit up 3 times this year and it had nothing to do with his play and everything to do with catastrophic defence. the Leaf goalies are not on Price's level but they're strong enough that you can win with them if there's a sound defensive structure in front of them.
