I am not so sure you want to compare career numbers then. What's up with the "enough said". You want to ignore possible opportunities, that's fine but look at career stats then and see if "enough said" was enough. - Beatle_john
Have you even bothered to look? Reimer younger, less games played but wore wins. |

So why are you saying Harding is better and the Leafs should replace him Reimer with him then? - RogerRoeper
I was not really saying that.... I was responding to someone who thought the idea was "drunk". From my perspective, Harding is the guy who plays all of Minny's tough games against their hardest opponents and is a viable #1. I never really meant it to be a direct comparison -- I don't believe in those when the West and East play very different styles of hockey anyways.
Reimer is Good! Harding would be great in the system in case anyone goes down. |

It amazes me how worthless players become when they wear the Leafs jersey. |

He never played this year. From the media it sounds like he dropped to #3 simply due to the player altercation.
Maybe you are right. I can see your point that he is recently unproven.

No. Complete myth.
Ron Wilson and Randy Caryle coached teams do not improve your statistical numbers. |

You are going to have to help me out here then. While I agree that some stats point directly to nothing... such as the plus/minus and game winning goal stat, why would constantly being outshot not transfer to a higher save percentage if your goalie is a winning or at least above average goalie?
(And I realise I could be wrong here... but you will need to explain that one)

From Sportsnet:
A dd that Harding hasn’t played an NHL game in 11 months and that his setbacks due to multiple sclerosis make him doubtful to play big minutes consistently, and it’s possible he clears waivers Tuesday.
Thanks for your continued helpful hints on what the Leafs should do. Picking up a 30 year old goalie with MS who hasn't played in a year and would have a cap hit of about a milly while playing in the minors is just the kind of advice you are famous for. |

To further your own point, would Martin Broudeur have nearly as many wins in any other system or in a city where he only left his own time zone for 2 or 3 times a year. So I suppose there is a lot of relativity in that stat.

Can someone explain how a 30yr old goalie with 151 games played and 60w 59L 11sol Is an upgrade on a 26yr old goalie with 148games played and 69w and 51L and 11sol.

One plays for the Leafs.
The Leafs are very lucky to have Bernier and Reimer in net for only 5.2 million combined. |

Why is Jonas Siegel whining about Kessel not talking to him? - RogerRoeper
because he isn't really a sports journalist and needs player quotes to create stories. |

Because the likelihood of scoring also increases and the difference between 2 goals on 30 and 3 goals on thirty shots drops the save% 933 to 900% that's a pretty significant drop for one goal. |
