Meh- what would be cool is a waiver wire pick up or a trade or maybe both...

I find it doubtful the wagon line will look this good by the end of the year and by no means is that me blaming them. At this point I would settle bringing in a serviceable third line center. Someone who can take defensive zone starts and not be completely dead in the offensive zone. Move Drasaitl to wing and let him learn without the extra duties of center. Heck at this point I would rather call up Lander than keep throwing Drasaitl to the wolves.

I dont think that 4 th line can keep up that pain and punishment over the course of the season.. Gordon is such a warrior but night in and night out for another 60+ games... no way...

Eakins is not a good NHL coach, never was, never will be.

By the time the Oilers get top 3 lines that can function properly in todays NHL-the solid 4th line we have will no longer be as solid.

If the 4th line plays on average 10 minutes and the oppositions top lines average around 20: that means that the Oilers other 3 lines are getting their show ran most nights.

I still dont understand why Hall and RNH have to play together. As well, why is Yak(who is a defensive liability) playing with a rookie(Drai) who hasnt grasped the NHL game yet. What kind of monkey is responsible for these kind of decisions; MacT or Eakins? Holy #@$%!

last year he was. I agree he isnt one today and his play has defense has improved drastically, but he was put with Drai to start the season, and that it self is a donkey move and a gamble that makes no sense.
