last year he was. I agree he isnt one today and his play has defense has improved drastically, but he was put with Drai to start the season, and that it self is a donkey move and a gamble that makes no sense.

Need to get them some help. They're going to burn the (frank) out. They were starting to employ some others in defensive situations before Hall got hurt.

Just looking on the Oilers website, there's a guy named Sylvain Rodrigue who's a goaltending assistant who's been here for two years (I.E. precisely when the goaltending fully went down the toilet) Apparently he assists in development and scouting (Our goaltending picks/acquisitions have been bad in this time too).

We should make sure if they fire Chabot that they can this guy too.

I always thought Mac T was a solid coach, but wouldn't it be kind of hard having to do both jobs? I know Patrick Roy has that title, but I bet Sakic is basically almost like co-GM with him.
