Who cares if Hodgson is cheaper than Eberle. Hodgson is not as talented as Eberle. Why would you want a lesser product? We aren't in a cap-tight position.

I would argue we are.

We're going to be closer to the cap next year than this year even to maintain this exact roster. We'd assuredly be banking on the cap going up to get necessary upgrades at Centre and Defense.
