Eakins is not a good NHL coach, never was, never will be.

By the time the Oilers get top 3 lines that can function properly in todays NHL-the solid 4th line we have will no longer be as solid.

If the 4th line plays on average 10 minutes and the oppositions top lines average around 20: that means that the Oilers other 3 lines are getting their show ran most nights.

I still dont understand why Hall and RNH have to play together. As well, why is Yak(who is a defensive liability) playing with a rookie(Drai) who hasnt grasped the NHL game yet. What kind of monkey is responsible for these kind of decisions; MacT or Eakins? Holy #@$%!

Still think Iggy will get it going. He sucked early on in Boston last year too. His even strength production for you guys has been decent so I don't buy that he doesn't fit the system or can't keep up with the speed(although I do think he's better paired with Duchene and/or Tanguay than MacKinnon), it's the lack of PP production that hurting him and the rest of your forwards.

He has been playing with Mitchell and Landeskog right now. And they haven't been a bad line. Recently I just read that Landy has some of the worst measureable puck luck in the league right now. Guy is just snake bitten

I've never really checked that out. Mind you, i stopped caring that much about the Av's once the dynasty ended after the second cup win. Primarily also due to me quitting hockey and no longer idolizing Roy.
