Matthias Richardson Kassian
Dorsett Horvat Hansen

I'm not liking it - Richardson should be our 4th line center...just not diggin the mix there.

I bet Willie is gonna go back to giving both bottom 2 lines around equal 5v5 time so it's basically a 3A/3B line situation so I wouldn't put too much stock into Richardson being listed ahead of Horvat. I really liked Jensen's game and would like to see him eventually get a look in the top 6, with a playmaker like Bonino, he could so some damage.

For the team to have success, like they did earlier...we need to roll four lines.

I agree, so what you're saying is that there really isn't a true 3rd/4th line situation and that you overreacted to the line listings?

I remember him for inventing front loaded contracts. 14mil signing bonus with salary of 2 mil per season for 5 years.

Players don't offer themselves contracts, NHL GM's and agents do. Was he the first? I thought the Rangers offered Sakic the first one?

He was definitely the first player to sign front loaded contracts. But it was worth every penny since Fedorov was an absolute beast in playoffs.

Watch Vey closely on 5v5, he's been worse than Hansen. Deserves to sit.

I'm no Hansen fan, but I agree with this.

He was great regular season and playoffs!! Just never got the press he deserved because he was playing behind the great Steve Yzerman.

Has Paul Henderson been inducted yet? I hope they don't make the same mistake with him that they did with Pat Burns Let the guy be there to enjoy it FFS!

97-98 season Sakic made $17 mil, Federov made $28 mil

I'm not sure who signed first, but it was the same season anyway.

Federov got $14 mil signing bonus + $14 mil salary, then 2 mil per year for the next 4 or 5 years.

Sakic's offersheet with the Rags was a "measly" 17 mil in year 1 and 2 mil for the next 2.

Media played a huge role in that. Federov was a far superior 2 way player and one of the best 2 way players in history.
And hands down the best/smoothest skater in league history

They should find him a way to get in for sure, just not sold on it being a great player?

Botch was saying this morning that an arguement could be made for Markus Naslund getting in and that the Sedins career's will be better than Naslunds, so they may get into the HHOF one day.
