Botch was saying this morning that an arguement could be made for Markus Naslund getting in and that the Sedins career's will be better than Naslunds, so they may get into the HHOF one day. - LeftCoaster
Sedins score 1000 pts each and they r a lock for the hhof. |

I think they'll get in if they score 1000 too, Henrik for sure because of his Art Ross & Hart Trophy to go along with his one Stanley Cup run. One of the best passers of his generation. |

If that other Swede from TO made it in you would have to look at the Twins |

Naslund will be borderline.
It will depend who else is on the ballot with him.
A lot of big names retired between 2008-2010 so Nazzy will be in tough I think.
He might be a guy that has to wait a few years before he gets his shot.
His stats stack up with his peers, but there's gonna be a lot of rings on the fingers of the other guys he's up against. That will hurt him.
Same goes for the Twins... Perhaps. |

Their situation plays a huge part in my opinion. Drafted 2/3 play their entire careers together. The chemistry the numbers so closely tied. And no chance only one gets in |

Federov was just so much smoother. I always remember Federov in the fastest skater comp at the all star game. Facing guys like Madano, bure, marchant etc. Those guys would be going like crazy. ESP behind the net. Feds just kind of glided along, did a couple smooth crossovers behind the net and would win easily |

You know you are a great player/skater when the coach asks you to play defense (the actual position and not just team defense as would apply to any forward) which, if I recall correctly, Fedorov being employed as such by Bowman on a number of occasions. |

His on-ice performance makes it hard to not put him in. His parents definitely won't get in though |

He didn't even get in his first yr of eligibility, so obviously it is quite debatable |

IMO either Forsberg, Federov or Francis are the most underated player in history. To be that good at defense and put up those kinds of numbers in unbelievable. Guys like Yzermen, Gretzky, messier were average at best defensive players throughout the majority of their careers, but the 3 I mention were dominate |

Yes I know but it's just semantics with his off-ice BS, as a player, he was one of the best ever.
At the time 500 points in 352 games - 5th fastest ever! 600 points in 429 games for 6th fastest ever. Then his injuries came. |

To me, getting into the Hall involves a player that has either changed the way the game is played (as in Orr, Gretzky) or a player that has put up great numbers while DOMINATING the game during his era (even if it was for a shorter duration)
To that end, I think we can all agree that Lindros was a dominant force out there, a huge beast that was also a great skater and with soft hands. He would basically run you over if he couldn't finesse his way around. One of the most productive and feared lines in the NHL was the Legion of Doom. Lindros, whatever you may think of him on a personal level, easily deserves to be in the Hall. In fact I don't see any legitimate counter argument (other than his career unfortunately being cut-short) |
