Hall looks disengaged so I would take the gamble and send Zib, Methot (resigned of course), and Greening for hall and Schultz. Go big or Go home. Never going to happen though as Edmonton is stuck on a rebuild.

Im pretty sure that proposal was a joke.

But what's also a joke is the annual parade to the lottery from the Edmonton Oilers. It sucks because I'd love to cheer for them, but they never get any better.

It's time to face facts, you need to get rid of at least one of your young guys to round out the team.

Hall is going nowhere. He is as untouchable to the Oilers as Karlsson is to the Sens.

And as much as I'd drool over having Eberle on the Sens, it doesn't make sense for the Oilers unless there's a Turris going the other way.

The smart play would be to package him to AZ in exchange for Yandle, or someone with some experience. Oilers are so desperate for some veteran leadership and solid D it's disgusting.

The oilers need to get better. They're a team I really want to cheer for out west. Taylor Hall is one of the best players in the league.
