I will be the first to admit Eli isn't a great regular season QB. He turns the ball over too much, but he comes up huge in the playoffs. He's certainly not perfect, but he's got 2 Super Bowl MVP's. No one has more. - PLindbergh31

Speculation that Berube's contemplating dressing Giroux's equipment bag over Corpseberger on the 1st line. - Just5
Good call, IMO |

Coughlin will be in the HOF I believe. He also built an expansion team and had them in the AFC Championship game in a few years. That's pretty impressive too. |

Have to credit his receivers for making some impossible clutch catches. Manningham and nicks |

Nope. In fact, pretty much everyone here thought it was a stupid move.
It was a hell of a shot though.. - jak521
Many of you were arguing with blue jackets fans all offseason about how umberger was gonna resurrect his career and outscore hartnell now that he's not playing with giroux. |

I knew it was a horrible trade from the beginning. I think most people knew it was a downgrade in talent, but an upgrade in future cap relief. |

That dime he dropped to Manningham on the sidelines was unbelievable. Incredible throw. The first super bowl the catch by Tyree was definitely lucky, but Manning has to get credit for avoiding the rush, and getting loose from what should have been a sack.
Eli went into GB and won two playoff games in frigid temperatures against Favre and Rodgers, and was at least equal to Brady in two super bowls. What more can you ask from the guy? |

You mean the -8 Hartnell who was stapled to the bench in the 3rd last night for taking a bad penalty? That Hartnell with 5 more years on his deal? |

You can ask him to be above average in the 150 other games he's played |

88-73 record, 247 TD's, 182 Int's, 30 game winning drives, 2 Super Bowls, 2 Super Bowl MVP's. I'll take it every day of the week. |

Nope. Can't take anyone seriously who loses an NFC Championship game at home to Jeff Hostetler. |

He's had success in the past, but God damn his constant pouty face drives me nuts. Dude lacks the ability to smile. |

His regular season numbers are similar to McNabb's except he throws a lot more interceptions and has rushed for less yardage.
If you take out the lightning in a bottle Super Bowl runs (which had as much to do with the defense), Manning isn't even better than McNabb or Romo. |

Once you start a sentence with If, does it really matter what comes after it? |

But he did win those super bowls so why remove em? |

But he lost an NFC Championship game to some dude I'm not familiar with. So his 3 Super Bowl MVP's don't count, right? Eli Manning (somehow, to you) has more Super Bowl MVP's than Joe Montana because Montana once lost a Conference Championship game.
Edit: I also said "playoff QB" not "QB." |
