ES minutes/ES Points = Minutes per ESP
Voracek 256/18 = 14.22
Raffl 155/7 = 22.14
BSchenn 238/10 = 23.08
Giroux 289/12 = 24.08
VandeVelde 105/3 = 35
Couturier 253/7 = 36.14
Simmonds 235/5 = 47
Bellemare 189/4 = 47.25
Read 239/5 = 47.8
Lecavalier 117/2 = 58.5
Umberger 205/3 = 68.33
Rinaldo 120/1 = 120 - Feanor
Would love to see the Offensive zone start percentage next to each player also. And Vinny actually has 1 even strength point with the other goalie in the net right? So he's more like 1 point per 117 minutes at a greater than 60% zone start time?

I would rather provide him some legit wingers before I think it is time to move him. Just like Schenn needed to be put into the right situation. He is now producing. Let Hextall build this team. We all knew it wasn't a quick fix. - J35Bacher
I actually would have liked to see the Flyers move Couturier up to the first line, had Giroux not been able to play last night, letting Laughton or PEB center Couturier's line, but Giroux played, so it was a moot point. |

I think most people expect him to be a 25-30-55 player on average in his prime years and that's reasonable. It's possible that he could hit 60+ points once or twice but I don't think it will be the norm, which is fine because we already know he's an elite defensive forward so 50+ points would be swell. - NickTheKid87
He's only going to be a 50+ player here if he gets on the first PP unit, which seems very unlikely to happen anytime soon. |

I don't want to see the organization give up on Coots either, but i don't think he has the offensive prowess/potential that many posters in here believe he possess. Yes, he lit up juniors, but there are tons of players that do and then don't in the NHL. Whether it is due to the lack of support on his line (though when Read is his usual self he is more than adequate), too focused on the defensive side of things or just insufficient finishing ability, I really can't put my finger on it. - aantny88
I'd concentrate on getting rid of all the driftwood on the roster, rather than messing w/ any of the nicely hewn 2x6's that are currently holding the roof up. |

So which players exactly deserve the blame for the unmotivated performance last night? Berube said G, Voracek, B. Schenn, Laughton and Mason showed up, so who were the key players letting this team down? Who earned this chewing out? |

From what I watched? I'd say the blue line, as a group, sucked last night. |

Of course not. If they're good wings, you don't tone down the flavor with mold. |

I think that estimate is a bit high...his career high for goals is 13, so to expect him to put 25 in and be the top defensive center on the team might be asking too much. Bergeron and Kopitar have had 20+ goals in every season when they've been healthy. Even Jordan Staal, whom many compare him to, has had 4 20+ goal seasons, so I don't feel he has the ability to finish. I sure would love to be wrong though |

- P/60 is the reverse of what Feanor did. Instead of minutes per point, it's points per 60 mins.
- Off ZS% Rel is just + or - around the team ZS average (currently 49.6%). For example, Vinny gets 10% greater that the team avg. Coots 18% less. |

They had Greg wishshinsky (sp) on to talk about it or 10 mins.. now they're asking the Winnipeg GM Cheveldaeyoff is on and they're asking him about it..
He said, that when he played with Hextall in junior with the wheat kings he knew never to shoot above the pads on him or suffer the consequences haha... maclean says he likes it and this group needs a wakeup call. |

You didn't adequately adjust these numbers, sir.
To account for the discrepancy in linemates, ice condition, puck temperature, and shoulder pad size, you need to invert the numbers, divide by the players skate size, then add 18 (or however many skaters they dress that game), multiply by the width of the opposition goalie's pads, then invert THAT number, then multiply by the coefficient of friction (static) of the rink's dashers. |

More talented my arse...Flyers have two of the best forwards in the league, so STFU and go troll somewhere else. - aantny88
You realize that hockey is a team sport right? While you have 2 elite forwards, that doesn't mean your entire team is overall more talented. Florida hands down has more offensive depth. And their 5th defenseman (and probably 6th) would be a top pairing defender on the flyers. |
