There are more drafts to be held, free agents to be signed and trades to be made. Aside from that we already have a solid core to build around including a bonafide superstar in Claude Giroux and a budding star in Jake Voracek. If things go according to plan, Sanheim, Ghost and Morin could anchor the core of the blueline. All Hextall needs is time and cap space and the Hartnell trade will certainly help with the latter.

Luke Schenn is mutually exclusive of the Flyers' prospects. He started as an 18 year old and was thrown to the wolves which include NHL competition, Toronto fans and Toronto media. The way Hextall handled Ghost tells me he's 1000% more prudent and cautious with his young talent than the brass in Toronto were.
