What contributes and what doesn't, is really a matter of opinion, and of perspective.

When this statement is made, And I'll emphasize that deals is plural. "Homer's deals will be haunting this team for years to come".

Then looking at all the good deals that will also "haunt" the team, should absolutely be part of that conversation. Because they are also part of Holmgren's "deals".

What makes it ridiculous is that no one agrees on everything about this team -- just because you agree with someone on a particular point doesn't mean both people, or more people, are aligned against someone else on every point they make

You completely missed what the point of mentioning a clique was about. It had zero to do with my point of view, or about always being right.

What it has to do with is influence, and a overwhelming negative tone towards the team, coach, and the organization as a whole, that has become the environment in here.

And cliques absolutely exist on internet discussion forums such as this.
