Raffi Torres and Gomez are both 1/2 Mexican.

Lindros is a NHL hall of famer. Leclair I'd say no.

For flyers purposes they should just induct all 3.

I don't think Renberg deserves to be in the Flyers HOF ... but to be honest I wasn't overly thrilled with Schultzie being in there either.

I also thought it was a shame that Tim Kerr had chronic injuries as he was dominant during his Flyer days and could have been so much more

Looking back at all the major injuries that this team has had to big time players. It's unbelievable.

yep, and he often took things personal ... which as a player was fantastic, but as a GM it often clouded his judgment.

It's in everybody's best interest for Umberger to find his game and play better. Not to mention that especially with Raffl out, the Flyers have a shortage of LW's. I seriously doubt that Hextall is influencing Berube on who to play,and where. Berube didn't hesitate to demote Lecavalier to the 4th line last year.

That was a pretty massive trade to see such elite players as Mark Recchi, John LeClair, and Eric Dejardins all involved in one deal.

at least the highlights didn't show Lindros pounding Desjardins ... that would have been awkward.

The season is less then 20 games old. Berube is going to do what he thinks is best. Right or wrong. And I don't believe his decisions are going to be influenced by Hextall.

I think it's naive to think that there's no input or influence whatsoever from Hexy to Berube regarding the team they're icing. I know many think there's a chinese wall of sorts there, between coach and GM, but I'd bet that wall between Hexy and Berube isn't much more than a brick high. It's human nature...Hexy is trying to put his mark on the team and "manage" it, and seems to be hands on type of guy... then you have Berube, who is beholden to him for his job security. There's bound to be some sort of influence there.
