I'm glad he wasn't. His current spark is much needed. We would have brought him down with the rest of the team if he were here.

I remember that game. Panthers complained about the final goal -- with some justification -- because Lindros actually lifted up and tossed aside a Florida player as he skated up the ice away from the puck, then scored the goal as you describe it.

Nice, I didn't remember that part (despite watching the tape a few times in the 20th century). I actually contacted the Flyers a couple of years ago and they offered to sell me copies of games I wanted on DVD, but when they checked they didn't have that one.
