His offense is good. I can already tell people are going to dislike him because he doesn't look like a guy who is giving max effort all the time. Thats just the way he plays though. He's giving effort. He just doesn't look like it sometimes. That's my opinion at least. Others my feel differently. I think he has a chance to make the team next year.
Stolarz is playing tonight and he's having his best game as a pro thus far. I think it's only his 4th game of the year. - PhillySportsGuy
Thanks -- and that's good news on Stolarz. Not like there's a ton of goalie prospects in the pipeline

Stolarz is still a long way away though. Zepp is without question the top G in the organization thats not in the NHL. |

I still believe that Lecavalier can score, and can make plays with the puck. But he needs a player to get him the puck. Which we really don't have. The problem is that Lecavalier can't do much else. He was making an effort to get better defensively earlier in the year, but that has since waned. His blown coverage and losing his point man is inexcusable. - MJL
Speaking of which, and maybe this is all the wingers but for me most notably Simmonds. Wayne Simmonds has been awful at covering the point! Awful! I think Umberger might be the only winger covering his point rather well. Raffl might be second best but he doesn't properly block shots... |

His problem is. He knows he has to produce offensively, that's why he signed here. He is cheating out there on the ice. You can see it. He doesn't have the wheels or the core strength. So whether it be cheating up the ice, not engaging in battles for being afraid of gettingout of position and not recovering, you name it Berube is so pissed he has to ice this guy. - Just5
Really soft on the puck too. An opposing player can blow on him and he coughs up the puck. |

I think both will be solid players. I don't expect either to be franchise Dmen. Hagg is more of an all around talent who I believe will be able to play in any situation. I feel Morin has a fairly limited offensive upside. I don't think he'll hurt the team offensively, but I don't see him being more than a 25-30 point guy. If he can be a Dan Girardi type scorer, I would be very happy. |

It has to be personal opinion because other then being out for a month injured Morin hasn't done anything to fall..
In the end I think most Flyers fans feel Sanheim will be the best of all of them. |

Based on what I've seen, Sanheim looks like the best chance to become a top pairing guy. He looks really good. I wouldn't be surprised if he makes the Flyers next season. |

Yes. I get scared when he's out there in space in our d end away from the play. |

why is that? nothing hagg did during camp stood out to me - i literally remember nothing of watching him play. i know bill is high on his overall game, but is critical of his passiveness.
overall, i was impressed by morin - his skating, hitting, and defending along the wall the around the net, making plays to get the puck out. sure he made some mistakes, but the good far outweighed the bad imo.

I like them both. It's really not one guy being better than the other right now. Morin hasn't even really played this year. It's more just personal preference for the type of defenseman I'd value more. I like Hagg's all around game and I prefer two-way dmen over defensive defenseman.
I'm happy we have both though. I think Morin can be a very good player too. |
