I said "darn" good. And no, my comment goes back to a previous blog where he called Florida the "lowly Panthers". Problem is we're above .500. We've also played the least amount of games in the league and our kids are scoring goals. We are also one of the best defensive teams in the game. It's just annoying when some people think losing to us means your team sucks. Florida is not a bad team... they're a darn good one!

From what I've heard, not really. They are both pretty comparable as far as the years they've had, same amount of ice time and such. Hopefully this is the start of those ever elusive changes we've been promised.

He wont bring any offense but from what I here he isn't bad at defense.

Could be and maybe Nill didn't want to deal with it again after this season since he will need to be re-signed again.

Jason Demers and a 3rd for Brenden Dillon

Disclaimer: I have never heard of Brenden Dillon before.

But I personally was a big fan of Demers and my initial reaction is that I do not like this trade. The single biggest reason for Demers' regression has been that they have played him with Hannan. Being stuck with Hannan for 2 years would ruin make a defenceman's career.

At times Demers was a pretty good top 4 d man who got the shaft from a terrible head coach. He will thrive in Dallas. Now to look up info on this Dillon kid...
