I have Backes and offered Backes/3rd for Kopitar/5th and he countered with 2nd/7th instead . Was wondering if picks were too much. Thanks for the input.

Technically, unlimited moves if it works under your salary cap. If you have the cap space and roster spot (we have 4 bench spot), then he can be yours. But, with that being said, we only have 4 drops to clear salary and roster spot. I have 3 drops left, and 2 bench spot available with 240K of cap space. I will need to make a move (either drop or trade) to be able to pick him up.

Johansen or Benn in keeper? Have Johansen and other guy seems to be willing to move Benn for him.

I just havnt seen a ton of Clendening to be able to say go for it 100% thats my honest answer.

but if you have a hunch,

I am a huge fan of Benn and his overall game, nothing taking away from Johansen but he isnt playing with Seguin either is he?

Yea, i was leaning towards him.

The fact Markus is getting bigger minutes keeps me wondering about him though...Tatar is still getting around 15:00 a night....Markus more like 17:00

I would try to make a move to clear ~500k+ . I am really hesitant in using another drop that early. As the season goes, drops become more and more valuable. I am still trying to move Silfverberg, Beleskey (although he doesn't seem to slow down so far, that's good for me) and started to see who would be interested in Eriksson. I am still debating if I trade Hanzal. His injury history doesn't inspire me any good.

I got Sidney Crosby, Shane Doan and Jason Garrison in a trade. I had to give up Matt Duchene, Wayne Simmonds and Alex Pietrangelo.. I still think I won that trade

Is the media this bad in Montreal? NY? Vancouver?

Drouin....write off of a year or will he pick it up SOON? whenever i watch TB play he plays scarce minutes but shows flashes of brilliance. I'm in a keeper league so i may pick him up. Thoughts?

The teams in MTL, NY , VAN haven't been as crap as TO. Sorry, but the team deserves all the crap thrown at them.

those ducks players are on track! still! haha silfverberg big night last night if i recall!

eriksson will be tough to move but you may be able to trade him for another player who isnt exactly playing up to par

you cant lose that trade for duchene on a struggling COL team, Simmonds has been decent but slowed down a bit since flyers are having a tough time scoring, and pietrangelo isnt getting #1 PP time anymore.

he will be a phenom, the reason i feel hes not in top 6 minutes is because things are going well for Tbay right now and as the old saying goes: dont fix whats working.

u may have to eat a bit of points this season but going forward he wiill be top 6 for sure. great keeper if u get off free agency.

leafs have struggled for years thats their problem

if they were solid last few seasons and made playoffs, having 2 horrendous games wouldnt be as big a deal

but the media blows things way up so they can get their pay checks.

Toffoli should be able to get close to 30 goals this season, that was my prediction from day 1!

Hi my league don't do trade, only free agent pick up. It count goals, assists, +/-, ht, gwg and shg.

My question is i have a few players on my roster that i am not sure if i should keep them through the season or maybe replace them with free agents.

I have Toffoli, T Johnson, Mackinnon and Markov thinking about to replace
Free agent options are: N Foligno, Ribero, P Sharp, Landeskog, R Mcdonagh, T Krug and C Franson.

hey there, glad to help!

im assuming if you dropped a D man (markov) you would have to pick up a d man?

Sharp is hurt - but when hes back he will certainly be worth picking up.

let me know about Markov - cause if you could replace Markov with Sharp thats a guarenteed improvement.

Realistically, id take sharp over Toffoli. Johnson perhaps too - although he is producing quite nicely...
