But they are getting chances, and aren't being drastically out shot. That is progress. Umberger is starting to get more chances. Hopefully at some point, one will go in for him, and he can get out of this hole. - MJL
True. I still think I'd at least move umberger off that line and try raffl there with laughton and vinny. Those two might be fast enough to create space for vinny to find holes . |

I'd like to see that line also. Raffl/Laughton/Lecavalier. - MJL
didnt you spend an entire season arguing that vinny should be playing center |

When they scored that second goal I was about to get mad MacDOnald backed in too much (again) and gave up the cross-ice pass. Then I realized it was Del Zotto.
But the team showed character to come back and get another two goal lead quickly. |

I'm copy pasting this and sending it her. Thanks. - Giroux_Is_God
No problem, I hope it helps her. Like I said, it's just important that once you're on it you stay on it.
The whole sitting for a few hours for your infusions thing kinda sucks but I was able to catch up on a lot of reading so I didn't mind too much. |

That was last year. Laughton wasn't on the team. The reason I'm moving Lecavalier to RW is because of Laughton. He's playing too well. Lecavalier can play RW. Can't play LW.

If no one else gets hurt between now and Raffl's return, Umberger is going to end up on the 4th line. Berube thinks Raffl is a first line player most of the time. |

Their second goal.
Watching the replay now it started when Umberger got beat along the boards in the offensive zone. |

Their second goal. - Feanor
I don't have a problem with Del Zotto there. That goal is all on Luke Schenn. For a second or two it looked like it would be a 2 on 1.There's a subtle mistake that he made on that play. And it's the same kind of mistake he made on the PK. This kid just doesn't want to move his feet at times, and puck watches. That shift where that goal was scored was Schenn's first 3rd period shift. It was also his last.

So, how'd they look? - BiggE
Good. A few rough spots, but they had a solid team effort. Coburn had a great night. Giroux, Voracek and Schenn were great. Laughton looks like he's staying. Couturier line had some good chances. Mason was very solid
Couple things need shoring up, but overall a good, solid team win. |

If what I hope happens and its raffl-Laughton-Vinny. Then what happens to the 4th line when white comes back? Bellemare is a lock then who fills out the other spots out of white , rj , rinaldo?

Brayden Schenn and Wayne Simmonds both have better Corsi numbers then Giroux or Voracek.

With guys like Raffl, Bellemare, and Laughton the Flyers are accumulating excellent secondary pieces to that top line. I love the speed, skill, and grit these guys bring. |

Yep, need those kind of players. They can skate and pressure the puck. That's what the game is all about these days.

They're so much fun to watch. Schenn has been a good complimentary piece on that line.
Wow Calvin Pickard just robbed Semin. |
