I'd rather they wait until the deadline, more teams bidding/desperate, clearer picture of where the pick would fall.

I'm not crazy about him, but if we're discussing Edmonton...Eberle? Huge cap hit. Yakupov? Talent is there, but who knows? Doubt they deal Hall or RNH.

Absolutely. I feel comfortable keeping him too, but I feel his trade value will be at its peak at this TDL. I would float him out there and see if a team is desperate to make a Filip Forsberg type deal.

A team that hasn't made the playoffs since 2006 shouldn't have that many untouchables -- and that's not saying they have to trade with the Flyers.

I don't get it. I won't start in again on it, but I just don't get how a team that bad can't seem to find a way to make a trade that actually addresses the fact that they lose a (frank)-ton of games in the now instead of dreaming about a future that may never come

They won't. I don't think the Oilers are good trading partners for the Flyers. They aren't looking to move youth or first rounders unless it's a top pairing dman or top line center.

They've done a poor job with all the talent they have had. From what the media says, MacTavish is difficult to deal with, say he overvalues his guys.
