Just how good is the defense going to look when they get the puck, get it to the forwards, and the forwards give it away so easily and readily?

Also, what Norris trophy candidate or winner is making $5.5M? His salary is not an issue and won't be going forward. If he's a very good number 2, what's wrong with that?

I thought they did so because of his salary - which is both higher than his spot in the lineup would normally warrant and manageable - in short, perfect for a team thinking about the salary floor and future flexibility.

But he has a hell of a motor.

Lemieux with 2 goals last night as Barrie beat Peterborough. He has 12g and 7a in 17 games.

Cornel with 2 points last night and has 21p in 20g this year.

Reinhart with 16p in 7 games, Kootenay is 6-1 since his return.

Compher with 2 goals and an assist last night for Michigan.

Amerks lost to Adirondack 4-1 , Grigorenko with the goal and Makaraov with a career high 45 saves in the loss.

It's taken 3 coaches time to realize he's an NHL'er.

He's started each season in the press box or Rochester. I don't get it. He has done nothing but play well.

He has 14 goals in a career 117 games. Which would average around 10 in a full season. Another perfect role player

Ullmark is getting shelled in his games with MODO, making 48, 46 and 50 saves in a week where they went 1-2. Good news is he pitched a shutout in the 50 save effort. His stats seem to be a bit misleading.

Petersen has a 2.70 and .916 in 8 games as a freshman with Notre Dame. He also has 1 shutout.
