Seriously though 7-1 would be a pretty good score for the Eskis against Chicago.

So I quit watching the game after the 2-0 goal to watch Sin City 2 (not bad). Turn back to the game to see a 7-1 score. I have soooooo much Oilers pride right now.

I don't care if he's fired or promoted again. I just never want to see him as the guy in front of the camera again.

I seem to recall the final straw which broke the camels back with MacT was pulling the stick infraction call when the team was playing some very good hockey with a chance of making a comeback. I think it was against Anaheim? Edmonton needed the 2 points in order to stay in playoff contention, and instead of letting the team play it out he bungled an illegal stick call on Selanne. The call didn't work and edmonton took a penalty as a result, lost the game, missed the playoffs, and went downhill to rebuild town.

The point is edmonton was still considered a playoff bubble team and MacT was gone. I understand they want to quit messing with the players by continuing the revolving door of coaches, but Quinn, Renney, and Kreuger were all kicked out the door for so much less with so much less to work with.

If you guys somehow manage to get mcEichel do we see a rebuild of the rebuild?
