My question is-why are expectations so high? Aren't rebuilding teams supposed to suffer a fair amount of losing before a turnaround can take place?

I really don't think they were, I mean with a young team u expect them to get a little better but everyone was skeptical that draisaitl and arcobello could play such an important role for us and everyone know that having a bunch of 4-7 dmen wasn't gonna cut it, I think everyone so mad because management just decided to roll with what they had and now we're off to the same start last year

I get it, I mean a little progression isn't too much to ask. I think Eakins guaranteeing a playoff spot, and MacT promising bold moves, kind of shot themselves in the foot. When you give false hope to an already long suffering group of fans, you have to expect a revolt.

this is the worst I've seen this team , been a fan since '83 and the mid 90's were pretty bad but not this bad...

I'm not gonna lie I used to game it a lot instead of watching sports but once the I got a bit older and oilers made it to cup final I unfortunately haven't missed a game since, the only thing I've seen them do (since 06) was suck, and I dint see any light at the end of the tunnel, but they're my team and will always cheer for them. As far as buying tix, it will not happen until we make the playoffs. I got the money to buy season tickets but why pay for that, its just as enjoyable watching at home (which isn't saying much).

Not really. People hear don't really want to trade Perron after he spoke up the other day. They sure as (frank) don't want to talk about Hall or Nuge, and are hesitant to talk about Yak and Ebs and Klefbom, Nurse is the answer to our prayers so we can't trade him....and no way in hell do we move our 1st when we have a lock on either of McEichel.

But yeah, anyone else is on the market! C'mon Mac T! Take whatever mediocre players you want and parlay them into a pair of top defenders, a 2C, and. Number 1 goalie! As Oilers fans we want to have our cake and eat it too. Mac T has to do something so get ready to say goodbye to one of your darlings.

Ya its ugly, what else can really be said, and as most smart oil fans know, this season is done. But what will it take to get management off their asses, only thing I can think of is stop giving them money. (Jerseys,tix,etc..) I've done it

I want a rebuild, trade em all for all I care, none of them play like they want to be here, I know our top line isn't the problem but honestly what are we gonna get for anyone e else, nothing!! So if we want a 30 minute dman or #1 c only one played is gonna get us that and that Hall. If we want the best played of another team were probably gonna have to give up the best players on our team, and right now that's hall

So if we want a 30 minute dman or #1 c only one played is gonna get us that and that Hall. If we want the best played of another team were probably gonna have to give up the best players on our team, and right now that's hall
