Agreed on both counts , but the word ASIDE is what gives it away, he can't take THAT stupid of penalties no matter how angry he gets. I think that was the turning point in the game.

Kunitz looked awful all game I don't think it was Crosbys bad play he had no one around him.

With reference to the 4th line, in 2010 that's what put Chicago over the top. They were very very good, but they had 2 third lines. Took a lot of pressure off the top 6. They were huge all year. Good show out there on the island. Keep it going.

The Islanders in the last 4 years on the other hand would sneak up on guys from behind and try to sucker punch them (Martin/Talbot) or punch concussed guys who are turtling in the back of the head. Or take a run at a superstar just because. That's never been and never will be the Penguins' style. They'll play harder in the face of adversity, and they might reciprocate in the heat of the moment, and they might push or cross the line of legality within the framework of the hockey game. But they're not in the business of employing willing assassins whose M.O. is to jump star players for no reason.

Look the pens are a great team........Crosby and Malkin are just on another level. That being said, they are not the same pens that won the cup.

Yeah we're excited about this team but so what? I'm sure you guys were excited a few years ago too after coming back from obscurity. We're just happy to have something positive to cheer for. No one here thinks we won the cup this weekend. Rational thinkers know this is a long season. Just a lot of bottled up energy coming out.
