Mason has come to play tonight
Be nice if the rest of the team would join him - BiggE
Islanders are a strong team. They had the better of the period, but the Flyers battled hard that period.

He's a (frank)in animal - Giroux_Is_God
He can smell it -- you can tell by the way he's trying to walk the puck out from the corners and off the boards to the front of the net
Right now, he feels like he can't be stopped |

Nice period there by the Flyers. Islanders are impressive, they attack in waves. This is a team I can get behind in the playoffs once were eliminated |

Yes they did. Defensively we were a disaster at the blue line and neutral zone. Not the way they've been playing lately.

howie rose is all like: "i think they something like a 34 game unbeaten streak that year. maybe 35. but even with all that, they didn't win the cup and the islanders did in game 6."
he forgot to mention the most important detail of the game. - hammarby31

Last guy to do what I saw him trying to do was Malkin's MVP year, the 50-goal one a few years back when Crosby was out
Not a lot of guys can/will play like that, with the strength, skill, confidence and courage to try walking the puck out like that -- you can get smoked
The fact that he is means he is REALLY feeling it |

We're missing Timonen all season. NHL will place an asterisk on the Cup when given out this year |

Who would of thought one of the better parts of that period would have been the PK? Damn near got a shorty out of it. |

Maybe one of these weeks he can leapfrog Jannik Hansen and get Player of the Week recognition from the league -- thought for sure he was getting it today, dude's either scored or got points on damn near every goal they've scored that matters lately |

of course he knows it's 35. taking a shot imo. horrendous.
and they're showing the final now from the cbc feed, and the off ice host is all like "look at this beauty we dug up". really? it's the (frank)ing cbc feed. everybody's seen it. a million times.
and what a horrible final shift. bob dailey got hammered by nystrom in the corner first. failed to control it on the wall and then got beat for the tip.
jfc. i'm fuming. |

Rangers, Pens and Devils eclipsed the Isles on my hate meter years ago. The late 70s and 80s though, they were a close 2nd to the Rangers |

The more he is hidden by the league the better. He will be looking to cash in on his next deal. |

Question.
Does it make sense to any of you to love your team but also like a rival. To me it doesn't make sense to hope a rival team win unless it benefits your own. Example 95% in my area either love the Wings or the Leafs. Lion or the Packers. If you say you love both, you are in most cases a girl clueless abour sports.
Am I wrong? |

Exactly...those 3 have been firmly at top since '94.. Can interchange the order but easily 123 |
