i think it's highly possible that the kid being black spooked the cop more than he would have if he was white. doesn't make him racist. but it does make him unfit to be a cop in the first place. it's fine for you or me to have that kind of leaning but the law needs to be blind.

I think the fact that the police just had reports that Brown had robbed a convenient store minutes before the confrontation is what spooked the cop. It also probably scared the poop out of him likely knowing that Brown had a criminal record including many assaults. Then it probably almost made him piss his pants when Brown grabbed for his weapon. Then even shat himself when he got punched by Brown..

Ok...now explain why the lawyers and family of the kid in Cleveland say there was no race involved? I'm going to assume it was a black cop that shot him.

I'd say there is also a very good chance that, considering the guy had just robbed a convenience store, maybe he wasn't just some poor innocent unprovocative black kid that he's being made out to be.

Adam....maybe race was a factor. If it was the cop should go to jail. I just think the race card is thrown out pretty easily.

i think the physical evidence shows that this is the case. the kid got in the cops face, punched him, almost got his gun and managed to get himself killed.

well i guess you have to assume that there's no indictment because the cop's story seemed much more plausible and backed by more evidence/reliable witnesses than the prosecution.
