Yeah, that whole situation was a sh*t show, courtesy of the media (imagine that).

Enough said about that- we need to bury this team tonight. They've scored like 7 goals in their last 5 games, or something like that....we need to expose those teams, and give them a reason to believe that they can't beat us, ever- basically, it's the same feeling I get about the Flyers. This is how you guarantee points for the future, in my opinion, by making them not bother showing up, knowing they're going to lose.

I am still kind of bent that we do not have a number one pick this year but if we are successful through the season and playoffs I guess I will be all right. It is just a real deep draft.

As for tonight. the Capitals are hurting LAich and Green and out and Ovechkin is game time decision. So we should be able to handle this one.

Who is net tonight though? Halak or Johnson? I am thinking Halak and have a funny feeling Johnson will be in Washington. I don't think they want Halak playing in Washington after last year

Definitely a good possibility. It will also depend on what he think he has developing already and where we are come the TDL . If he thinks we need something to galvanize what we already have I can see him trading someone along with some picks for a decent playoff veteran for a push. This has definitely been his make a statement year.
