Man he'd make a huge difference for our team.

Is Hall really untouchable at this point, or can he be acquired in the right deal? With Shattenkirk's emergence this year, I'd be on board with a Pietrangelo + Berglund + prospect for Hall + Schultz swap. The cap hits work, but is the swap of talent good enough? No doubt Petro stabilizes the EDM back line, but is Berglund good enough to slot in at 2C?

Nope, it's just a move that has no effect on the teams performance this season. Why don't you wait until an off season to fire a guy? Why at the 20 game mark of this season. It this move going stop this ship from sinking?

Don't be fooled. This is a PR move to show simple-minded fans that oil management cares about this franchise and want to create a situation where thier players can succeed. BS.

There were people talking about getting rid of Chabot 2 years ago. I recall Renney talking about Chabot doing something different with the goalies that he didn't like.

I know i mentioned it when Dubnyk shat himself last year. But, regardless of that, It's great to know that a coach that is now with the best NHL coach identified that as an issue.
