Come on. That's (frank)ing weak. How about getting some balls and making moves that actually improve the team. Oil fans keep mentioning the moves MacT made in the off season to improve the roster. But did the roster really improve? That improvement is not reflected in the standings.

I'm really not seeing how moves a team hasn't made make a move that will have a positive impact on the team pointless. Should they have waited until they'd negotiated a big trade before firing the coaches that should have been fired yesterday, even if they have to wait two weeks to do it?

Nope, it's just a move that has no effect on the teams performance this season. Why don't you wait until an off season to fire a guy? Why at the 20 game mark of this season. It this move going stop this ship from sinking?

Don't be fooled. This is a PR move to show simple-minded fans that oil management cares about this franchise and want to create a situation where thier players can succeed. BS.

Hmmm...it's pretty close. But as a defensive pairing I think you rely on your partner more as there is only 2 of you back there. You can hide guys on a fwd line and make up for their play, not so much on D. But not a bad analogy all in all.
