I don't worried about it,I don't work for the Oil so my job is secured but anyone that owns a business or have management experience running a business will understand that this move would look better if the person had nhl experience.

I don't mind, he just seems more concerned with optics than I think is anywhere near necessary.

The oilers should get rid of everyone who isn't providing positive results in the organization, and they can do that in a random order, alphabetically or by penis size if they choose. I don't care. I don't see anything implicit in firing a position coach that indicates they're done making changes.

Fans of all teams will either agree or disagree.

Do you mean that a more experienced replacement could be a better hire? I agree.

Or do you mean that the move has better optics if we get someone who's done it somewhere else before? Because optics seem pretty unimportant to me. Isn't this a team that's been too occupied with how they're selling moves for the past 5 years?

that criticism makes no sense to me. We're less than 48 hours from an eye-opening drubbing.

If no change beyond goalie happens, I'll criticize the heck out of it. But neither did anyone contend that it was the only problem, nor did they contend no more moves are coming. Quite the opposite in fact.

Any more than the fact that I've only ate breakfast today indicates that I have no intention to do more eating for the forseeable future.

I agree here, easiest move to pull the trigger on but should be more to come. I hope for your sake there are still some good trades available to be made. Oilers have some good assets to trade with but will probably be bent over to make a deal that helps you right now.

I've already said I'll be furious if Draisaitl is an Oiler for the rest of this year, and if the Oil draft McDavid. What a crock it'll be.

We need to make a change to our defense, and to our Centres, and probably also to our goaltending, and i'll be very angry with management if two of those three don't happen before June.
