correct, but from what i remember the bruins were actively seeking to trade seguin due to some off ice stuff, which i think was completely blown out of proportion. seguin is dynamite and i believe his value is equal to hall's right now, back then i think with the off the ice stuff and having not played as the 1C yet, his value was slightly less than halls.

I think he's saying that you rarely win a deal where you trade the best player on your team for less than one of the best players on another team.

There are some star for depth deals that have worked, but not a ton.

This is accurate. We need a 1-2C and a 1-2D. Having both of those will change the outcome of the pressure on the underperforming goalies. It all depends on how we can adjust to cover the hole of the impact that Hall makes.

If you ask me, I think anyone is fair game outside of Hall, RNH and Nurse.

Oilers need help everywhere. Please trade your first round selection this year. Please keep McDavid and Eichel out of Edmonton. Please get a competent GM that knows how to build a team. Get players that can keep pucks out of your own net instead of stockpiling players that can (supposedly) put the puck in the net. Get help on the back end instead of this hodgepodge of underwhelming players.

You have the pieces, go get leadership and a winning attitude. And if your GM cant do it, go get a new GM too.

Quite frankly I dont care much for the Oilers, but I am sick of seeing them stockpile top talent and ruin their confidence.

He is one of the best LWs on the planet, he's young, and he's on one of the best deals in the NHL. He is by far Edmonton's best player. It takes top 20 for the Oilers to move him.
