I think Coburn could be a pretty solid 2.

Coburn and petry might not be a spectacular top pairing, buts solid and can move the puck.
Far better than Petry and whoever his partner is now

I think the oilers should see if they could pry vinny from the flyers. And I mean get him to waive his no trade clause. He is a good 2/3 line center and will fill the gap till the oilers young center is ready to take over. 4 mil cap hit isn't that bad for what he can produce playing his normal position. Besides the flyers prolly wouldn't want much for him

Boychuk is a stud. He can easily play 25 mins a game in every situation and shut down crosby or ovechkin. Just because he's not flashy doesn't mean hes not a top pairing defenseman. He basically a dan girardi. Leddy is younger than myers and a world class skater and has taken his game to a new level this year.

Leddy and Boychuk have elite possession numbers and have been a huge part of helping turn this team around. The scoring depth and goaltending have been paramount also, but Leddy and Boychuk are a tremendously important part of this team's turnaround.

No because once you look at it, all the young stars on our team, be it Hall, Eberle, Nuge, or even Yak, have won championships etc., throughout their hockey careers. Being stuck on a team, that they know is at least 3 years from sniffing a playoff spot is not going to do it for them...whether we like it or not...we might be rebuilding the rebuild.

I disagree I think Schenn has definitely shown some talent.

The oilers would be lucky To get a Kid like schenn even if it is for a guy that has a little better scoring touch.

You are so dumb. He is 6'8 and one of the best skating dman in the league. he is only 24 and playing almost 25 mins a game. On team with offensive weapons like Edmonton he would put up ton of points. With dman going for ton right now. He is worth your house and kids.

What you dont realize is that dman are going for a fortune Look at leddy and Boychuk. He is head and shoulders better then them. His stats have not really declined. Look at the numbers again. Have they gone down well so has the team. Playoff team to well worst scoring team in nhl history. How can you aspect him to put up points with this offense.
