If Cody Hodgson is not careful, he will end up in Toronto.

Most of the time I forget he is on the team.

Mike, ever thought of coordinating a bus to Erie now that Baptiste is there...we could call it the Bo0s Bus. (do I have that Bo0s right? .. I wasn't around here back then I guess)

"The Sabres have been scoring more, 15 goals in the last four games, but they've also been relying on goaltending to much."

to/too

You made the same mistake a couple blogs ago too.

Oh the irony.

- SabresPanacea

yeah, well...the fact that the sabres have scored 15 goals in four games is enough for anybody too forget an "o"

Awesome...I went last year while my son was in medical school in Erie...good times...McDavid was quiet for 1/2 of game...seemed to realize with the score like 3-3 that it was time to take control...ended up 9-4 Otters with McDavid earning like 4 points...he just dominated the last half.

Hes going to look real good in an oilers jersey.

Garth just posted an article about Myers and the Kings, what a horrible offer he mentioned for Myers.

I would rather see Zack Kassian on our 3rd line than Cody Hodgson on our 3rd line. Yeah I said it

Still pissed about that trade.

why?...Buffalo needed a center and hodgson has top-six skill...Vancouver wanted to bulk up on the wing and kassian has the size...both have flaws: hodgson has trouble playing defense, kassian is afraid to drop the gloves...

but it was, and still is, a hockey trade...

btw, neither sulzer or gragnani, the other players in the trade, are in the league anymore

Well said, as per usual.

Part of me still thinks of Hodgson as the odd-man out when we're finally "good" again, but his contract may have a lot to do with that. Might be untradeable, ala Tim Connolly, unless he picks it up.

It was a hockey trade, however for 2 years most fans were under the assumption we fleeced Vancouver when it has turned out to be far from the case

Columbus and Edmonton both lost tonight. Great. This is going to be a worse season than expected. Who are the prospects at the 6-8 range?

We were a soft team that couldnt score and we traded a young power forward for a small center that isnt that fast and cant play his position defensively. In all fairness, given the opportunities kassian and hodgson have had, neither has done much. Just out of curiousity, who would net you more in a trade today? Both were mid first rounders, both have flaws, but they have very different skill sets.
