I remember a bunch of people saying that our goaltending wasn't going to be good this year. I think both Enroth and Neuvirth have proven that theory wrong. Edmonton's goalies leave a lot to be desired.

I think Columbus will eventually end up out of the bottom 5. It's just going to depend on how long it takes them to be close to healthy.

I said from the start Buffalo's goaltending will be better than expected.

Edmonton's defense and bottom 6 is the issue. Has been for several years now.

Columbus will crawl out of the bottom 5.

It will be a 3 horse race for the top two picks. Buffalo, Carolina, and Edmonton.

I defended him for a while

They've been great, but that's above what they're usually capable of over an 82 game season. It's likely that they both come back to earth. I expect them to still be good but im not sure how many more games they can steal for us.

Yes neither works too.

I don't expect them to steal games for us all the time. But I think when you look at what they've done this year in comparison to what's going on in Edmonton, we're in a better spot with goaltending right now. It is nice to have a goalie steal you a game once in a while though.

I still think when all is said and done we're at the bottom of the league. We've bee pretty lucky when it comes to injuries and stuff so far. It's only a matter of time. Take Girgensons, Ennis, or Myers out of the equation and you could very easily see this team go on a 10ish game skid.

Yea, we could never buy that kind of luck when we were competing for a playoff spot but not when we don't want it..

Definitely better than Edmonton, but i think in their case it's just a team that's just giving up on the coach..and each other. Not usually one for defending the code and whatnot but it says a lot when your top 3 pick from this year gets drilled into the boards and players are just kinda looking at their feet trying to avoid eye contact.

And while we're still giving up a lot of shots per game, one of the big differences between this 3 game winning streak and what we saw at the beginning of the year, is that most of those shots are now coming from the outside perimeter as opposed to right in front of the net.

Agreed, the forwards are buying in and playing solid in their own end.

The lack of talent is evident, but even in the Washington game, Enroth played well but didn't have to stand on his head

I dunno, he made some big saves on really good chances in that final 2 minutes or so.
