~35th overall in the 2015 draft would be a great return for LSchenn or Grossmann.

Saw the rumors concerning B Schenn, B Coburn for possibly Eberle and Yak, I don't think that is a good deal for the Flyers unless we get a pick as well...Coburn is a young D man with proven value and Schenn has proven to be at least a top 6 forward at a much better price than Eberle's 6m a year...maybe it is me, but I just can't see the Flyers doing this deal... - JW98FlyerFan
The way Schenn is playing right now I wouldnt even think about moving him. I would however trade Coburn and a pick if needed for Eberle. Look to the future guys!!! Coburn is not in it! |

I don't think I'd give a pick. And I would consider Coburn part of the future. |

I am sure these two teams are talking ( it seems forever) as they both need to shake things up. I wouldn't be suprised to see a couple player going each way... just don't have a clue which ones!

I feel like that same deal has been posted here, possibly by someone who was posting drunk. |

I agree Coburn is our best trade chip. But the return has to be good. No more JVR for Luke Schenn type deals.
Some would disagree.

I would take ANY draft pick for Luke Schenn.
And I suspect so would Ron Hextall.
No one is giving up an asset for Luke Schenn and if they do, it's a win for us. |

Eberle is a stud. He needs to get out of EDM. |

He isnt getting any younger and his contract will be up soon. This team will not contend for at least another 3-4 years. Coburn would be best served as a trade chip for building the future. Not keeping him and having another #4 defensemen at the age of 34-35 by the time we are ready to make a serious run. |

I think one of the reasons they are using 7 Dman is simply because they can't have Luke sitting as a healthy scratch if they want ANY value via trade.
I would try to make him as part a package in whatever deal they do |

No one watching this team regularly would tell you that Luke Schenn belongs in this top 6 rotation. Nick Schultz is giving them better minutes and he was signed, specifically, to be the #7 guy in the press box. |

I actually didnt mind the deal when it was made. I thought Schenn could become a good shutdown defender. He never improved..... He has his moments but his foot speed is his biggest problem IMO. |

Yes, he is at that point where youthful inconstancy is no longer an excuse. If we had playoff Schenn all the time I would not think this way.

Schultz has been one of their top 3 Dman all year IMO.
Schenn has been streaky but has been pretty consistent on PK |

Hes good at PK because he actually isnt a bad defender. He just lacks speed and he is mostly just playing his part of the box on the PK. It allows him to use all of his best tools. |
